Animal Farm is a fairy tale story written by George Orwell and focuses on a group of animals living on an English farm around the turn of the 20th century. The story begins with Old Major, an elderly pig, speaking to his fellow animals about his dream of animalism. He calls for animal freedom and equality, but above all else the end of humanity’s dominion over farm animals everywhere. When Old Major passes away, the animals of the farm take it upon themselves to begin preparing for revolution. Events on the farm reach a tipping point much sooner than expected when Mr. Jones, the owner of the farm, forgets to feed the animals for several days. As a result, the animals break out from their pens and attack the food stores soon after Mr. Jones
