Another observation was conducted on 1/14/15 at 1:02 PM for a lunch in the unit R dining room. The issue known was that a LPN was asked by a family member of resident #383 why the table residents of #272, 342 and 478 were not being served. The LPN said out loud that the residents #272, 342, 383 and 478 needed a staff member to sit with them because they had feeders. Therefore, the interview with the LPN on 1/14/15 at 1:21 disclosed each of the residents was fed last because they were feeds. However, there was an interview on 1/21/15 at 10:30 am with a registered nurse (RN) Resident Care Coordinator (RCC), which disclosed that staff should not describe residents as feeders.
