American Farmers have always been honest hard workers and many say they are the true back bone of the American people. During the late Nineteenth Century the farmers’ struggles were even harder than they are today. The harder the farmers worked, harder and harder it was to make ends meet and live comfortably, which in return became a problem for the banks and lenders. The way of live for a farmer was threaten and the banks and lenders controlled their destiny. Railroad companies and bank were constantly taking advantage of the farmers. American Farmers had every right to complain. Banks and lenders were knocking on their doors for payments; most the time losing the land they worked so hard for.
