3-D printing is expanding in many areas in the near future and potential growth is in the medical field. Researchers are just getting started to create artificial bones with 3D printers. Some companies are investigating the possibility of printing organic materials. Bio-printers using bio-ink made of living cell mixtures can build a 3D structure of cells, larger by larger eventually forming human organs. This can replace defective human parts and can be used in many different surgeries (thefutureofthings.com). As these techniques expand more explicit training will be needed for 3D models as more complex human systems develop (Carol Houston, MSN APA). Robots play a critical and growing role in modern medicine from training the next generation of doctors and nurses to comforting and protecting patients. Robotics can provide improved diagnostic abilities ((Alison Diana). This allows for a less invasive, more comfortable experience for the patient with a much smaller and precise intervention. This reduces hospital stays, and improve patients’ prognosis and save costs. Robot replacement is just a matter of time. This will be a second wave of automation using artificial cognition (Kevin …show more content…
Many farmers and their work animals were replaced by machinery (Kevin Kelly). These people did not sit idle but instead, because of this automation, thousands of jobs were created in entirely new fields. The same thing will happen in the future. Some jobs will be eliminated and new ones will be replaced by workers using new advance technology. The economic environment will also change due to these emerging trends and economic growth. This ranges from construction, to software and information technologies, infrastructure, travel trade, banking education and healthcare
