The use of his strong educated vocab appears as if he’s writing to the higher class explaining his actions, while also encouraging to understand why purchasing children from the poor can be an advantage to their wealth. However, the use of his sarcasm, “...I rather recommend buying the children alive, and dressing them hot from the knife as we do roasting pigs.” (705), conveys a message to show how the process of selling a child is as similar to the breed of a pig. According to Swift, he claims that anyone who could find a fair, cheap, and easy method of making these children sound would deserve so well of the public, however, it shall be advanced in contradiction to his scheme, and offering a better. He explains his purpose and is open to new contributions causing for awareness to be set.
