Alois was a harsh father and took all of is problems and issues on his poor son. He and his son did not share the same passion. “Alois had a terrible temper and had a general bad attitude, He was obnoxious and conceited and he often took his problems out on his children.” (2). Hitler would often fight with his father over their interests. Hitler enjoyed doing art and wanted to go to art school however his father disagreed and had different plans for him. Alois wanted his son to follow his footsteps, but Hitler had different passions and did not enjoy the same things his wanted him to do. Clearly Hitler’s father ignored his son’s passions and thought of it as nonsense and enrolled his son in school that had non of his son’s passion and was more focused on science, technology, and traditional matters. Hitler did not like what his father enrolled him in and had horrible grades intentionally thinking his father would let him pursue his dreams. She was the opposite from Alois, she was a loving and caring mother. She always gave Hitler what he wanted since he was her only child. Klara was too nice and lenient and would do anything for her son Hitler. Hitler was really attached to his mother. After his mother’s death due to breast cancer on December 21, 1907. Hitler was shattered it was one of his greatest loss. His mother was the one who was giving him all the support and love. She was the one who kept him going, she was the light in his life. Hitler was so depressed after his mother’s death. “Dr. Bloch arrived later that day to sign the death certificate. He later said he had never seen anyone so overcome with grief as Adolf Hitler at the loss of his mother.”
