I didn't listen very well that there was homework for the math class and I didn't had it for the next day in math class, when the teacher noticed that we had homework to do at the last minute when she was going to check it, I start being honest and said that I didn't had it even I looked like one of the typical lazy kids on my school. If I had not told the teacher that I didn't had my homework when she asked me, she would figure it out by herself and it would be worst for ignoring her, so I said it. This a situation that happens frequently in school when you have to say with honestly if you did your work or not even you think you look stupid.
Honesty is not the best policy but a great one, without it the world would be a mess. Even if you don't want to hurt your social image, you have to say what you need to say without lying.
