Galatians
I. Greeting & Salutations (Gal. 1:1-16)
A. Paul sends a letter to the churches of Galatia. (Gal.1:1-5)
1. Paul tells the churches that he was not sent my man or himself, but by God the father who raised him from the dead. (Gal.1:1)
2. Paul explains that he and everyone that was with him, were sent by Jesus Christ himself to minister to the churches of Galatia. (Gal.1:2)
3. Paul send peace and blessing to the churches and explained how Jesus Christ sent him to rescue the churches form their sins at that present time. (Gal.1:3-5)
B. No Other Gospel We Know (Gal. 1:6-10)
1. Paul explains that any other word is not the word of God and how surprised he is at their behavior; and how people are trying to pervert God’s word. …show more content…
The Fruit of the Spirit(Gal.5:22-26)
1. Paul gives examples of the things that will get them into the kingdom of heaven. The fruits of the spirit. (Gal.5:22-23)
2. Paul tells the people to crucify their flesh and walk into the spirit of the Lord. Turn away from lustful ways, envy, and pride. (Gal.5:24-26)
VI. You Shall Reap What You Sow (Gal.6:1-18)
A. Goodness Shall Follow(Gal.6:1-10)
1. Paul encourages the Galatians if they see someone in sin encourage them restore their souls to Christ. But do not be tempted by their ways. (Gal.6:1)
2. Encourage those with heavy burdens. Beware of a person’s deceptive perception of themselves. Everyone must carry their own load. (Gal.6:2-5)
3. Paul warned the people not to be deceptive, and encourages them to always do good to others. (Gal.5:6)
4. Do not mock God! Every man must reap what they sow. Paul gives examples of reaping. (Gal.5:7-8)
5. Paul tells them not to get tired of doing good, their season of reward will come. Be good to all people. (Gal.5:9-10)
B. The New Creation of God (Gal. 11-18)
1. Paul summarizes his letter by explaining why he has written it once again. (Gal.6:11-12)
2. Paul tells them that circumcision does not keep them from sin of the flesh. Instead be born again and made whole as a new creation of God.
