Near Eastern Gods were based on supreme beings as immortality and transcendence and civilizations worshiped them with rituals at religious centers and kind actions. Certain Gods were associated with astral phenomena such as the moon, sun, and stars, while others were connected to nature forces such as winds, water and fire. These cosmic features were often depicted as divine symbols. Concepts of divinity and the fertility of the natural world were frequently expressed through decorated temples and ceremonial objects. The combination of cultural changes, tools, technological innovations, and other civilization features like societal conditioning via religion make up the true achievement of the Egyptian and Mesopotamian civilizations. Both cultures dominated the process of forming the first complex high civilizations and helped to shape modern civilized societies.
