As of November 1, 2013, over a third of the population in Sweden use Spotify, which allows unlimited access to about 25 million songs. In March 2013, Spotify registered 24 million users, including 6 million paid subscribers. The company has paid over 500 million dollars to rights holders, as 70 cents of every dollar it receives goes to artists and labels.
