a. When Europeans came to the Americas what natural resources did they find?
When Europeans came to America, the natural resources they found were rich soil, forests, fresh lakes and streams. The forests not only have trees, but they also housed an abundant variety of wild animals. The lakes and streams were not polluted with silt and chemical wastes. They also held a wealth of fish for food to serve as food. Another animal used for food was the bison that lived in the natural grasslands.
