Most of fast food restaurants customers do not pay attention to what restaurants put in their food because customers are always in a hurry as they order their food; Customers often are not careful with what other components the restaurants put in preparing the food. The antibiotics were meant to enlarge the size of animals faster, so that they could be proceeded to become food in the meat factories earlier than usual just to meet the high demands at the fast food restaurants. Ultimately, the purpose of antibiotics to stock up the sufficient supplies at the fast food restaurants to meet daily high demands. The use of antibiotics may not be harmful to human as they are being consumed, however there are some effects that could impact the health of humans if they are consumed frequently. What should be done to inform consumers and bring about the use of little to no antibiotics in our foods.

Most people don 't care about their health, they eat what they see not minding the ingredients used in the production of the food or the situation and surrounding it was being made in. For example Americans love meat and will take any opportunity that come their way to eat meat. They have to eat turkey for thanksgiving, hamburgers for fourth of July, and hotdogs for baseball games , but rarely does one hear of a day set aside to eat vegetables. After brainstorming, we all agreed that our major goal is to inform consumers about the effects of antibiotics in food production, precisely meat. With the increase rate in the demand for meat , dairy farmers have resorted to caging up livestock for example cows and feeding them with starch (corn) instead of grass (greens). When they do this, they use antibiotics to prevent the cows from exploding due to fermentation of the corn. Cows that used to take a period of four to five years to be ready for slaughter now take about fourteen to sixteen months. And like the saying goes where there is demand, there will be supply, so too will the supply of these dairy products with excess antibiotics which are not healthy for the system continue to increase. People should reduce their intake of meat so that the demand will reduce thereby decreasing
