Birth control is commonly known as a way to prevent unwanted pregnancies in women, it is often known as a contraceptive. Most often birth control can come as a pill, patch, or a shot - it all depends on what is best for the user, their body and what they would prefer. Endometriosis is when tissue grows inside the uterus of a woman, and causes internal bleeding inside which can potentially cause infertility. The pill helps because it stops the body from releasing an egg, and having a period ultimately alleving the pain that is caused by endometriosis.
