Army Cadets and Cadets in general has played a giant role in my entire life. To start from the beginning, I used to go to Navy League, which is also a Cadet program but for ages 9-12. I started at age 9 and left at age 12 where then I chose to join Army Cadets which I think was probably the best choice i've probably made in my entire life ( no exageration needed to be included). Now since this is supposed to be just about Army Cadets, i should not talk about Navy League, but how in the world will i explain my first year in Army Cadets without including Navy league so let's start. I would barely talk to people before, i really didnt have many friends before, and i was known as the girl who always had a book in her hand and the girl who was always seen reading a book. That is all true, it still is, but i have become more open and more like, not boring. But that has changed since I joined Cadets. Now enough about my past and more about Army Cadets.
My First Few Weeks…
Well my first few weeks were pretty annoying, but the people aren't boring or anything. Practically the only annoying thing was that i.. Already… knew… everything. Like legit everything but a few little things that are changed here. Since i had gone to Navy League before. I was already experienced with drill, knots and a bunch of other stuff. I already knew what a Reef Knot was and what a Figure Of Eight knot already is supposed to be tied like. And for the drill i already knew what Attention was and At Ease and Easy, Inclines and marching (to be honest drill and marching like are my favorite things to do in Cadets even if it's really tiring), and a bunch more drill commands.
