The four assessments I used to obtain information on my personality and temperament were: Similar Minds Jung, Enneagram Test, Gallup Strengths Finder 2.0 and Keirsey Temperament Sorter. According to the Keirsey Temperament Sorter, I have a Guardian temperament and a Protector personality type. The Gallup Strength test reported my strengths were in the areas of relator, responsibility, achiever, strategic, learner. The Enneagram and Similar Minds Jung describe my person and character as organized, hard-working, focused, helpful, orderly and aggressive. I also benefit from a step-by-step learning process that I can customize to meet my needs. Thoroughness is one of my pet peeves. Therefore, I tend to take longer with reading and writing assignments. Following this further, I prefer organized teachers who provide clear instructions for coursework and have classrooms without excessive noise. Both the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and the Gallup Strength Test suggested careers in the areas of education, social work, administration, counseling, and ministry. My problem-solving abilities include diligence and commitment. Hence, I commit to finding a solution to a problem and diligently work through steps or strategies to solve them.
Some areas of weakness included: difficulty asserting myself when necessary, taking rejection or criticism personally, not celebrating progress and accomplishments. Areas of caution include: not allowing others ownership of their responsibilities and avoiding delegating responsibilities.
