During the first session, I assessed Addison’s knowledge of the Dolch Word. She successfully read all words with the exception of away, run, were. She respectively misread the words: any, ran, and where. I reassessed Addison the following day on the missed words and she read all words successfully. The automatic sigh word identification goal was adjusted. The Dolch World list was enhanced with the Super Speed 1000 strategy to provide Addison with extra practice of identifying the high frequency, to enhance accuracy and fluency goal. The Super Speed motivated Addison to challenge herself to achieve more stars on her progress chart. Addison received three stars and continues
