This sample came from two hundred and fifty seven cities and forty states. The children that were in the general sample came from various settings such as public schools, private schools, mental health clinics and hospitals, preschools and day cares. This sample was “designed to resemble the population with respect to age, sex, socioeconomics status, and race/ethnicity of the U.S population estimates taken from the March 2001 current population survey” (Reynolds & Kamphaus, 2004). This sample included African Americans, Hispanic, White and Other individuals; a specific break down of race/ethnicity wasn’t presented in the BASC-2
