Reflection Paper on the
Book of Solomon The Book of Solomon is also known as the Book of Wisdom, is included among the have no part of the Hebrew Bible. This book is not recognized as a canonical book according to the Jews. In comparison with all the other wisdom books, the Book of Solomon takes a different turn; it does refer to Solomon as a wise king, either is there any information about author. The social context is dominate and it is composed in the Greek. The Book of Solomon is believed to have been written during or around the first century, and it is the only wisdom book that is initiated amongst Hellenistic Judaism. All the other wisdom books were initiated amongst the Palestinian Jews. The Book of Solomon may contain Israelites wisdom, but it focuses upon the violent and righteous individuals; while the Book of Proverbs addresses the human behavior, such as the righteous and wicked person (Clifford, 134). …show more content…
We have to walk out the Word and stand up for what is right. As Christian we are guilt of being just like the kings, which are not wise enough to follow the instruction of God. So we do not stand up with great confidence as the Word instructs us or flow according to the wisdom that come from God. We do not have to continue to walk amongst the lifeless or dead, but let the Word be a shining light of resurrection.
