Canada is a good example of the principles of welfare state Liberalism because they provide everyone the right to have healthcare. However, Canada is only 70 per cent public because they have the insurance plan that citizens or companies have to pay for. These insurance plans only cover the outpatient drugs, non- acute long- term care, and dental and vision care. Canada’s Public healthcare covers health and physical services that are consider it as needs for citizens. In 1984 Canada created the “Canada Health Act (CHA)”, which is “ to protect, promote and restore the physical and mental well- being of residents of Canada and to facilitate reasonable access to health services without financial or other barriers”. This bill helps assuring everyone to receive the right to have healthcare. The Health Act established that no matter their social status or the person background all would get medical services. Hospitals or physicians cannot charge them for these necessary services or they would be penalized. Having healthcare is a human necessity, which is something that you cannot buy. If healthcare in Canada was not public many Canadians would be not able to acquire medical services and probably their health would get worse or they may
