I'm currently a students at fortis collage who has finally made it to extern after 8 months of working hard to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician . I would like to work as a full time technician in the field hopefully after only a year or two out of college. Generally new technicians out of training need about 2 years to be on their own, fortunately I am currently working for a company, and I will have a year and a half of experience by the time I get my AAS here at NIACC. Becoming a full time technician is not my goal though, eventually I want to work my way up to one of two things, either the owner of a company, or a full time maintenance man at a large establishment such as a hospital.
