They are both very different theories. Maslow theory is related to motivation in the work environment and is brought up with many different points. The first point being physiological needs such as food, water and safety. Then he talked about love such as relationships and friendship’s. The next level would be esteem such as feeling accomplished and prestige. The final stage would be self-actualisation, which is reaching full potential. Herzberg talks about job satisfaction and job dissatisfaction and how they go hand in hand with one another. However analytical writing goes into more depth and tells the reader more information. We read some parts of two essay’s today, both having descriptive and analytical writing. They were discussing two big car companies. The first student started off with descriptive writing talking about how the two car companies are different. Reading more into the essay the writer starts using analytical writing and discussing how one of the car company’s uses Elton Mayo’s managerial strategies such as giving workers more freedom so they could determine the conditions of the working environment. The second essay was more general overall. The student had some analytical writing but it was coming towards the
