Things that I will have to consider when making this determination are the competition, the culture, the language, local regulations, local tax codes and market potential. I will need to carefully evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the markets I may wish to enter, “and select only the markets that show the greatest potential for entry and growth” (Heil, nd). There are things that I will need to consider when operating globally. One of the first things is to ensure I hire a great team to run my foreign operations. Furthermore, I will need to consider the impact of new Ideas. What might seem like a great idea here in the United States, might not be such a great idea in foreign markets. Another thing to look at is my branding. While it is important to remain consistent to my brand, I may need to tweak it a little bit to adapt to the foreign countries I am operating in. Finally, I will need to ensure that I have done my due diligence.
