This proves that many Americans are unaware of how harmful our human activities leading to climate change can be. Some harmful effects include, stronger hurricanes and severe heat waves. These warmer temperatures will also lead to an increase in evaporation and precipitation, warmer oceans, a melting of glaciers and other ice, rise in sea level. Along with those changes, some crops and plants may grow faster, begin using water more efficiently, trees are flowering earlier, and “the makeup of natural plant communities” are being impacted, (“Global Climate Change”).
