On the other hand, the American Army were the first to witness the camps and all the dead bodies. All that were found, were starved, had infectious diseases and had frail bodies. Many of the survivors settled in the United States. In relation to what is happening to the world today with the Syrian refugees. There are 3 main reasons why Syrians are leaving their homes. One of those reasons is due to the violence in Syria. Over 320,000 people have been killed by the Syrian civil war, that started in 2011. It also included the deaths of 12,000 children. About 1.5 million people have been injured or permanently disabled due to this violence. The war is becoming more and more dangerous because of distant powers joining in. Another reason is, due to health care and education. The economy in Syria is destroyed and other foundations as well. The last reason would be, the children’s safety. Of course there are many differences between the Jew refugees and Syrian refugees but they is also many similarities between each other. Both trying to have a better life for them and their families and to leave the deadly war. When it comes to helping those who are trying to flee places from violence and brutality, we have to think to ourselves if we are willing to help them or have history repeat itself all over
