Ceja Vineyard success of today is due to them having the philosophy of diversity, but also utilizing Robert Mondav’s theories. As the company stated that they carry a tradition making wine more accessible to everyone, regardless of who they are, and they like, and where they come from. These factors sound very favorable. However, the unfavorable factor is for the company they want to be an exclusive brand, so despite that diversity and letting consumer have access to their product, its up to consumers to decide if they want to pay for a lot for wine, if there income isn’t efficient to purchase Ceja Vineyard Wine.

For example if the company advertise in a way they can incorporate Hispanic meals and their wine it will help Hispanic consumers try drinking their wine. Most times when you think of wine you think of steak and wine. So if the company can incorporate diversity and culture it can help them.

The greatest challenge for Ceja Vineyard is readjusting their business and marketing plan. Since it hasn’t been updated it’s going to be a problem, reason being as the wine industry is continuously growing and expanding. Ceja Vineyard could be at a disadvantage and will figure out ways to expand. One of the issues would with expanding distribution via traditional channels makes it difficult to, due to barrier posed by the three tiers.
The large distributors will be a great a challenge for small wine companies like Ceja, Vineyard since boutique distributors aren’t able to operate in the U.S. So distributors like Young’s Market or Southern Wine& Spirits will find a way to acquire most of the boutique distributors to maintain control of the wine sales
