For recovery these patients require early, intensive therapies. A goal of rehabilitation therapy is for the patient to achieve the confidence needed to achieve the patients maximum level of function. In order to achieve this goal, the health care team collaborates within each other and establishes a plan of care that encourages the patients' abilities rather than disabilities. All members of the health care team are important aspects, this includes physical, occupational and speech therapists, nurses, physicians and social workers. With each team members input and specialties a patient can learn and modify their life according to their impairments
