Disability is a barrier to participation in children’s sport due to organisational constrains that occur in sport. Various NGB’s came up with possible actions that could be used to increase sports participation when they noticed issues such as disability were causing barriers to participation. An example of an NGB that came up with action to include everyone would be the FA – England’s football NGB. The Football Association has worked to improve and build on the original Coaching Disabled Footballers Course (published in 2000) to ensure that the current course format reflects the changing needs of players and coaches (Association, 2015) the FA gives the chance to become a coach for the disabled teams, work in the leagues and generally get involved in whatever way possible. In terms of anyone who has a disability, there are leagues you can enter and more than 700 affiliated teams to join (Association, 2015). UK sports and other organisations were supporting the development of the UKCC in different sports to create a standard of coaching in UK. By creating UKCC, any organisation such as schools and clubs that want to hire a coach can be assured that coaching will be of high quality due to the certificates etc. although the coaching profession has been developed to a level 2 award, the question remains if it is still enough to deliver a good standard physical education
