An opportunity for growth as per reference (b) is asking for feedback on how my actions affect the performance of others. As a Command Master Chief, it is imperative that I do this more often than I do now. I find myself as approachable, but I do find myself keeping a close hold on that information. I have to be ever mindful that, as a leader, I have the power to affect my unit’s culture through my priorities, my behaviors, and the trust that I do or do not create.
