Firstly, there is colonization; this was an act of setting up a colony away from one 's place of origin (google.com). Out of all of the articles I read, they stated that colonialism mostly negatively impacted developing countries. One article stated, “The effects of colonization along with lack of capital and advanced farming machinery, climatic conditions, and rapid population growth contributed to economic crisis in Africa”(Akech, Deng). This article mainly emphasized that colonizers were taking great advantage of the people in the countries they exploited and not helping their country grow.
