(n/d)) Status difference occur when employees feel threatened or uncomfortable speaking with employees either higher or lower on the corporate ladder. This issue can be typically resolved by finding equal ground and making an effort to getting to know this person. Finally, physical separation is the fifth barrier in communication that can cause issues and draw away from the point you are attempting to get across. This barrier is one I deal with a lot, since half of the people I work with are across the country it is difficult to portray your meaning without non-verbal communication.
