Being a leader does not necessarily mean to lead a group of people. In school, it can hold the meaning of leading by example. This may include in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Being a leader in the community is much different than in school. Community leadership brings about the challenge of organization. To be a leader in the community, organization is essential, as without it, there would be no leadership present. To be clear, the leader in the community is the one who helps direct what people do, but the thing that makes that person the leader is the manner in which they do it. A true leader would not only direct people on what to do, but they would show the people, and assist on the workload, not leaving them to do everything. Upon completion of the task at hand, with perfect organization, the ultimate reward is to be able to have the satisfaction that they were able to complete a take while at the lead of a group.
The rewards of being a successful, strong leader are very satisfactory. They may include a new respect, pride, more confidence, and eventually, more knowledge for the future. It may also lead to more people looking up to you and following you, which is a prestigious reward that is often overlooked.
