Classical conditioning is an aspect of behaviorism used in everyday things such as advertising by relating one thing to another such as the McDonald’s theme song. When you hear that badabababa you may automatically think “I’m loving it” and nowadays, you need only hear the tune to know it’s McDonald’s. The same process occurs in high school with the bell. My high school had a bell in the middle of our high school fourth period indicating jr. high lunch. During this time we found it difficult not to stand up and start gathering our things, as we had done for every bell in jr. high. This is because classical conditioning adds something noticeable before an action.
Classical conditioning is a difficult thing to recognize right off hand as it is on a semi-subconscious level.
