Shakespeare was brought to all in the 1564, yet so far back but so popular now. Some of the popular Shakespearean plays are the Twelfth Night another one Romeo and Juliet. While doing research on these two wonderful plays it showed there is quite a difference in the plot structure, theme, and symbolism of the plays.Looking at the evidence supporting that Romeo and Juliet is written with a better plot structure, theme, and better symbolism than Twelfth Night.

In Romeo and Juliet the theme that occured was young love makes people do crazy things, and it also has consequences. Throughout the play of Romeo and Juliet go through confusion that they call love. “a tragedy which befell two young lovers; he made it the tragedy of young love” (Lee 106). Romeo is 17 and Juliet is 13; she’s very young and hasn’t really loved anyone quite yet. Juliet’s mother is trying to force her into a relationship with another guy who is Paris. When Romeo and Juliet seen each other for the first time they say sweet things to each other, they kiss, Romeo than sneaks into her house. “These contrasts between love and hate, youth and age, gentleness and vulgarity, which serve to remove Romeo and Juliet from their environment” (Lee 106). They go through everything and as they do their love grows for each other until death does them apart. After Romeo’s death caused by him to think his beloved Juliet was dead, Juliet than kills herself. Their tragedy had an impact on their families since they had forbidden their kids love. The theme of Twelfth Night wasn’t so clear, but one that occurred was, no matter how far or what path a person took they’ll always find each other. Romeo and Juliet is written much better than Twelfth Night , the theme, the plot structure and symbolism is much better. These two plays are amazing, and they were much better when looking farther than the words. Looking for more than what was shown, there was more found in the plays than anyone would do just reading it. Romeo and Juliet came out in 1591 an Twelfth Night came out in 1601 and 1602, Romeo and Juliet is still a very big hit till this
