In the years between 1940 and 1960 country music got a pretty big overhaul. In the 1950’s and 1960’s Country music brought in other genres like Rock and Soul. Country music has always been the most respected form of music due to its evolution over time. In the years leading up to it country music was starting to be played by African Americans who were starting to put their own feel, emotions and soul into the way they played, creating the blues.
