In middle east specifically Lebanon, the marriage is a part of a process which is divided into three steps. To begin with,step one which is called proposal: a groom contacts the father of the bride ,and takes his permission to propose to his daughter. Once the father gives the permission for the groom, the groom meets the family of the bride, and speaks briefly about himself. After that, the father will ask his daughter about her opinion whether she is interested in meeting the groom or no. the bride has the full right whether to refuse or to accept.
