First, since Africa has many countries within the continent, there are many different governments being used today. For South Africa, it has a democracy like America, but has a little twist in the way the government works. There is a president that is the head of the nation, but he does not have a vice president like America has. South Africa includes a deputy president and ministers. There are branches that divide the powers of the government just how America has the separation of powers. This is so not just one person or group is in total power. The two governments are very similar in how the system of government works. Secondly, another idea of theology is the language that the two cultures speak. There are many different languages spoken in both Africa and America. The most common languages spoken in America is Spanish, English, and Tagalog. Tagalog is a language that is from the Philippines and about 1.5 million people speak it in America. Again, the most common languages spoken in Africa is English, Arabic, and Swahili. Swahili is a language that came from the Swahili family that countries only in Africa speak. It is mostly spoken in Nigeria and neighboring countries. The last but most important idea of ideology is the type of religion that is practiced in the two countries. The two main types of religion in Africa is Christianity and Islam. Religion is the most important idea in ideology because it represents the people the best and the people are what make up culture. Christianity is the belief in Jesus and all that Jesus did. When people believe in Jesus that is a lifestyle that they live every day, making up culture. So, in America the two main religions are Christianity and Islam.
