If a company is going into a foreign market, it will be imperative for them to have a high CQ knowledge. If would be beneficial for all leaders of the company to have a high level of CQ, but it is imperative that one of the leaders has a high level of CQ. Having a high level of socio-linguistics is a critical component to CQ knowledge, when doing business in Brazil. It is not only critical to know these things so the business leader can understand what is going on, it is also important that they know how they should act in return.

It is not only important to be motivated and have knowledge for a multicultural experience, it is also important to have a strategy going into the relationship. Having a plan, even if it needs to be adjusted, is the best course of action. The first step of a business’s strategy is for them to be aware of the cultural differences between themselves, the company, and the culture around them. If a company goes into a location, and does not pay attention to how things are around it, it will never truly mesh with its surroundings.
