Life is unpredictable. It is a series of twists and turns. Life is like riding a roller coaster that is everlasting. Not being able to see what happens next and not knowing the feelings that come within. Then, at the least expected time, something happens that …show more content…
There are so many things that people fight for in their life. For example, People fight for their life while battling cancer, some fight for their country, or fighting for the rights one has as a person. A song named Superheroes says, “When you've been fighting for it all your life. You've been struggling to make things right. That's how a superhero learns to fly” (The Script) This shows that if you fight for what you want or believe in you will succeed and what you are fighting for will pay off. Being strong in certain points in your life can be extremely difficult. I remember when my great uncle had passed away and we had to attend his funeral. Now, some people are not close to distant or elderly family members which make these situations easier for some people. But it wasn’t for me. My uncle was in the nursing home for two years and everyday my grandma, cousin, and I would go up and visit him. Obviously, over this time we had created a closer relationship which made it harder for me to let him go. When it came time for the funeral, I was standing next to my cousin Alijah who would always go up to the nursing home. At that point you decided if (A) you loved the thrilling uplifting feeling of the ride or (B) you never wanted to do it again. My decision was mixed at this point. I was about seven years old my family went to Adventureland for vacation. I had never been on a roller- coaster ad my Aunt Ashley said that if I was tall enough I had to go on the ride. Walking scrunched over to the “You have to be as tall as my hat to ride” sign; I stood there saying, “I’m too short. I’ll just go next year.” I tried walking away. That did not work. Ashley said to me, “You can sit by me. You will be fine. It’s really fun.” When we finally got on that thing, I was clung to my aunt. When it got to the top of the biggest hill I held her tighter. Then I remember being so cared I shoved my head in her armpit so I wouldn’t see anything. It was over in no time. That day I hated roller coasters, but for some reason that I don’t remember, I love them now! Life isn’t always what it seems to be; especially if you ride the roller coaster a few
