Answer: Confidentiality is very important in a school. No information should be shared that is not necessary. Only certain people should have access to confidential information. Disclosure of information needs to be checked very carefully. No information should be passed onto other agencies or adults unless the child is in potential danger. You always have to deal with information according to the schools policies and the Data Protection Act 1998.
