Training is the process of providing employees with the essential knowledge and proficiency to perform their roles competently. It is an indispensable way to keep your organization competitive while increasing efficiency of your business.
Having trained workforce means your workers are gaining knowledge and learning skills that can improve production and reduces mistakes. It builds confidence in employees and create better working environment. An investment in employees is actually an investment in the company and better training leads to better processes and more resourceful work.

It recruits staff from Schools and Colleges into Aldi’s apprenticeship scheme which develops loyal and motivated workers and train future supervisors in a short span of time. Apprenticeships provide Aldi with skilled workers required for the future.
Those from University are able to apply for the Graduate Area Manager programme which gives Aldi an opportunity to shape them into what they need. As they are open to new ideas, ways of working and experiences. Fresh graduates can inject new ideas and they are more enthusiastic and willing to take on challenges. Aldi provide a career path for a graduate and enable them to reach management level.
All recruits are assured of appropriate on-the-job and off-the-job training, as well as career development opportunities. Promotion is open to all staff, regardless of the route they choose to join Aldi.
I believe the most important route for Aldi to attract and train new staff is apprenticeships. It is far more cost effective than hiring skilled staff. Injecting youthful talent can add a whole new dimension to Aldi and improve the range of skills. Apprenticeships can motivate Aldi’s workforce and improve staff retention. It can address skill shortages and ensure that Aldi is up-to-date with industry standards, training and qualification. This commitment to training and development makes Aldi a business of choice for both ambitious teenagers and top
