The Cardiovascular System is also known as the Circulatory System and the Vascular System which is an Organ System.2nd The Cardiovascular System consist of the heart, blood vessels and the blood. All three of these elements make up the Cardiovascular System. These elements permit the blood to circulate and transport nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones and blood cells to and from the cells in the body to provide nourishment. Also, the different parts of the cardiovascular system move lymph which is a clear fluid that helps rid the body of unwanted material. The circulation of the blood are connected to provide organs, tissue and cells with blood.

The pericardium is the membranes enclosing the heart, consisting of an outer fibrous layer and an inner double layer of serious membranes. The Myocardium is the middle muscular wall of the heart. It pumps blood out of the heart and then relaxes as the heart refills with returning blood. The myocardium plays the most important role. Also, it causes the rhythm of the heart. The Endocardium is a thin sheet of endothelium that line that heart chamber. The thin sheet forms the surface of the valves. There is four chambers. The four chambers are the left atrium, the right atrium, left ventricle and the right ventricle. The left atrium is the collecting chamber. It collects oxygen and rich blood returning from the heart. The right atrium is also the collecting chamber for blood returning from the trip. The left ventricle is a part of the pumping chamber and it pumps blood through all body parts. Lastly, the right ventricle is also a part of the pumping chamber and it forces blood out of the …show more content…
The components consist of red cells, white cells, platelets and plasma. All humans create these blood components. The red cells are also known as the erythrocyte. They contain the pigment hemoglobin. Red cells also transports carbon dioxide to the and from the tissues. The white blood cells are also known as leukocyte. The white blood cells circulates in the blood and body fluids. They are involved in the counteracting foreign substances and disease. The platelet has no nucleus. They are found in large numbers in blood and involved in clotting. And lastly the plasma is a colorless fluid part of the blood lymph or milk. The different parts of lymph circulate in the system that helps rid body fluid. Conclusion In conclusion the cardiovascular system is extremely important part of the human body. That is broken down into three important parts. Therefore, without the heart, blood vessels and blood that cardiovascular system would not work properly. This system allows blood to circulate and transport nutrients, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hormones and blood cells to provide nourishment.
