I believe I would be an ideal candidate for this position due to the broad range of knowledge and experience that I have gained through the years, which has given me the ability to film/edit high quality video/audio productions. During my time as a videographer/editor at Curtin University, Mathew Knight Productions and WestTV, I have had the opportunity to create high quality productions while also working within tight deadlines. I have edited short films, documentaries, (as shown in my CV), and I was the lighting director and editor for Season 7 of the long running series ‘Noongar Dandjoo.’ In addition, I held the position of the lead editor for music videos for the artists; San Cisco’s ‘SloMo’, Nick Allbrook’s ‘A Fool There Was’ and Tired Lion’s ‘Fresh’. These music videos and productions have not only enhanced my editing skills, but exposed me to current filmmaking trends. As a result of my varied experiences, I have become proficient with digital cameras, camera gear and editing software such as; Adobe Creative Cloud, including - Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects and Audition. I am also knowledgeable with other editing programs; Sony Vegas, Final Cut 7, DaVinci Resolve and Boris FX.
