Virginia and the Carolinas were shaped by a humid, hot and near rivers and tides environment. Diseases were prosperous. A suitable happy middle was in Pa NY and NJ. The soil was rich and good for planting and the climate was manageable and water was close. MA was cold and wasn’t a farmer’s home, but was in a good area to port and trade goods.
As the American colonies expanded they needed more verity to fill the needs, expectations and requirements for the men coming on to the new land.
In later colonies, there seemed to be a more influx of diversity such as nationalism, racial, religious and political.

In the south, perhaps to stay and keep people in line with the British had expectations of civility and manners, what were assumed to be British behaviors for the elite. Even when education was starting the south and remained Anti-democratic. In the middle colonies, a sense of brotherhood was in place going along side with a government that was self-representation. In the New England were more ridged and secluded when it came to government and everyday life. Their government was only extended to free land-owning males. The needs of the South were focused on intertwining slaves, Massachusetts was more fixated on practicing their religion and keeping the colony afloat, while the middle colonies nonviolent Quaker ideas made room for more attention to education and
