Just like with humans dogs have voluntary and involuntary muscles. For example when a dog decides to chase a ball, it will make a conscious decision to chase the ball using its voluntary muscles such as the infraspinatus, pectoral, trapezius, biceps brachii, and gluteal muscles. Also just like in humans dogs have three different types of muscles, smooth, skeletal, and cardiac. The smooth muscles are usually found within the walls of internal organs like the blood vessels and the stomach. Smooth muscles are also involuntary. It is like this in the humans as well as the dogs. The skeletal muscles are connected to the skeletal system. These muscles are controlled voluntarily by a dog when the dog runs, eats, walk, or plays. Just like smooth muscle this is in the humans for the same reason. The cardiac muscle is in the heart and is an involuntary muscle but is striated just like the skeletal muscles. Humans also have the cardiac muscle which, of course, is involuntary. They are said to be a man’s best friend, which I do believe that this is true. Throughout my entire life I have had many dogs, which have always been like family to me. Dogs are animals that impact people’s lives, and some even have jobs. They can be used for stress, guarding places, finding explosives, assist the blind, and aid in police investigations. I think that this amazing because they can do these things better than some humans can even do. There are different types of breeds of dogs and some of them are associated with some of these jobs, like the German Shepard. The German Shepard is known for being a police dog to help with investigations and help with drug busts and searches. The fact that dogs can do all these things amaze me.
All in all, humans and dogs are similar in many different ways, like the muscular systems. The different muscles are used by dogs and humans in pretty much the same sense so they can run, walk, and jump. Dogs and humans have always interacted and I believe they will continue to interact. Dogs are amazing creatures who are very similar to humans, and they can even do things that we do at our every day
