In order to fully add the pertinent information, including case studies and statistics, a mixed approach would be beneficial. But if there were strict adherence to simply evaluating the social structure or the connections between the two groups, qualitative would be the best choice. a. What other qualitative approaches would be useful to your study? These could include content analysis, case studies, or any other of the approaches in your week’s material. Explain the value of this approach to your research objective.
Using phenomenology, the perspective of cartel members that were detained, could be evaluated through interviews similar can be said with terror detainees (albeit a bit more difficult to gain access to). Another method could be conducting a case study in order to fully analyze the topic from multi-access of approaches. 3. The survey could provide current data opposed to data that may or may not be outdated. What this would also allow for would be a more depth study of the views taken by the cartel members as well as terror detainees in order to fully determine their outlook on the relation between the two
