The two brothers, born into a family of dairy business owners, always had an entrepreneurial side about them. They constantly dreamed of growing their families business. However, their dreams came to a halt when government regulations forced them to sell their cows. Not deterred, the two men started their business with a barn and hundred pounds of beans, and a pushcart: to take out by the railroads. Where they handed out coffee samples to anyone willing to try. Anyone that has visited a Dutch Bros knows the first thing you see is a bright energetic face ready to chat your ear off until your coffee creation is made. The Bro-istas make you genuinely believe that they care about what is going on in your life; whether it is as simple as what you are doing for the rest of the day or as complicated as a true struggle you are facing, they try to brighten your day to the best of their ability. One true example of this is when a group of Bro-istas talked to a customer that had just lost her husband. Instead of just serving her a drink and sending her on her way “the DB guys and gals noticed she was falling apart and they stopped everything and prayed with her for several minutes”(Seattle, 2016). The woman was so overcome by the caring employees the she burst into tears. I cannot think of any other coffee franchise that would go out of their way for a customer the way these Bro-istas did with her. It is stated that Dutch Brothers strive for speed, however, I believe the employees know when to slow down and really relate to their customers; the women whom just lost her husband can attest to that statement. Of course on a day to day basis the Bro-istas are not encountering a large amount of people that have just lost a family member nevertheless,
