Studies suggest that teenagers require about ten hours of sleep at night to support their physical changes; and starting school one hour later would make an incredible difference in their academic achievement. If schools don’t change class hours, students will be constantly falling asleep during classes, they would be in a bad humor and they won’t be able to give their best on whatever they’re doing that day.
We can prevent all this from happening by changing class hours. Schools could begin classes at 9:00 a.m. More sleep at night will allow teenagers to be more focused on their studies and on roads, since most of the older teenagers drive on their cars to school. There are not going to be students sleeping in the middle of the classes and classrooms won’t be empty anymore, because the reason why most of the students arrive late to school is because they oversleep. …show more content…
