Stem cell research pushes the boundaries of science by taking the lives of embryo’s without voices for the benefit of science. Both Frankenstein’s project and embryonic stem cell research are connected by using someone else's life to benefit another life. Frankenstein used dead body parts to help benefit, create, and sustain his creature, while stem cell research uses the cells from embryos to benefit and sustain the other recipient. Lastly, embryonic stem cell research and Frankenstein’s experiment both use science to cause destructive to others lives. Embryonic stem cell research causes destruction by end lives before they can even be born, while Frankenstein’s experiment uses science to give birth to a creature who lives only in misery and causes
