Now if you are depressed you probably reached above minimal needs as a human because you probably live in the city or, at least, go into the city and interact with other people.So why are you depressed or have destructive emotions? Well, in some cases it could have been caused by bullying which in all honestly, you should always keep your head up and be positive and other ways it could be caused is by abuse, genetics, or some events which might have caused a trigger to an emotion such as anger or sadness which once again protects you in a primitive way against harm but to much can lead to destructive emotions and even self-harm. If we go even deeper into it, you will see your subconscious constantly thinking of a solution to the problem at hand by using a drive. Now, what is a drive? A drive is something that the subconscious uses after remembering a strategy and now needs to put in motion the strategy which it chose. Now the first thing that we went over is the hierarchy of needs and how it relates to emotion because at certain levels of the pyramid it might trigger a certain emotion. The second thing we have gone over is the way the brain deals and serves emotions by using certain triggers to then subconsciously remember a strategy and give out the appropriate emotion. Sometimes it would use drives to give out an emotion like fear which is used as a drive when you touch a hot stove to remember not to touch it again. The third subject we have gone over is a basic view of treatments which can be used to help yourself when dealing with destructive emotions such as meditation, staying positive, not getting involved too much in these emotions. As this chapter ends we shall dig even deeper into the complex world of emotions to see what are some more in depth causes and treatments and a basic refresher of the last two
