Before any of this mess started, the Hutu people and the Tutsi people lived harmonically with each other. It was not until the Belgium’s arrived to colonize Rwanda that everything went to chaos. The Belgium put the Tutsi on a higher level than the Hutu, which ended up with the Hutus being treated like dirt. It was not much later that Belgium suddenly switched the power between the two and gave the Hutus the higher level power. The Hutus were not going to let that opportunity to get revenge slip. 800,000 Tutsi were killed in that genocide of pure massacre. The Belgium’s tricked the Rwandan people into hating each other which ended up in massacre. By putting them against each other, the Belgium were able to get what they wanted, the elimination of the Rwandan people. In the end of the situation, very few survivors were left from the blood shed. Hitler and the Holocaust would be the number one example for the false use of artifice. Hitler managed to deceive the German population into believing that the Jews were needed to be eliminated. Hitler believed the German race was superior to all races and that the Jews and other groups did not deserve to exist. And so, with his skills on artifice, he convinced his fellow Germans to become Nazis, gather up all the Jews into concentration camps and kill them all. Up to 6,000,000 Jews were killed in concentration camps, not including all the other group of people that the Germans killed as well. These two examples are harsher than the first example, but it proves that artifice is not something good. It brought people to the point of killing others; and of course they were tricked into it. But that doesn’t justify any of their actions, and the main leaders who used artifice are the main culprits to why artifice is
